Automatic for the People. Great range of tunes from sappy to lyrically powerful, full orchestration to stripped down trippy psychedelic pop and a song about Andy Kaufman. I mean really, how cool is that?
Find the River has to be my favorite REM song ever, followed at a close second to Nightswimming both from that album.
