In 1951, the Telecaster Bass was also known as the Precision Bass, BUT it did NOT have the Strat-similar shape of the P-Bass that we know, today.
QUESTION - I am looking for a picture of any year's Telecaster-Bass, that is actually shaped like a Telecaster.

they dont have a musical instrument category...they need one though....lol
anyway, i searched google images and it brought up a ton of pics of the tele basses.....ranging from 68 to present...most of them have the traditional ''p'' body...however i found a few like this.....it still may be wrong, but fender bodies all look similar to me....hope this helps.....peace.
