Ronnie McDowell sounded so much like Elvis, that he sang all the songs in the movie starring Kurt Russel. He also had a few of his own hits, but I don't recall him ever wearing a mask.
Kenneth H. is right, Ronnie McDowell was known for his ability to sound so much like Elvis. Roddy McDowell wore a mask as the bookworm in the first Batman series, and I guess a type of mask in the Planet of the Apes. But, I don't think he was a singer. LOL.
I don't know Ronnie McDowell's stage name--I thought that was his real name. I think he still performs.
Ronnie McDowell And he even had to sign a contract stating that he would not record any thing that Elvis had done or sing like him......Not sure what he is up to but he is seen about here and there he lives in Nashville,TN
there was a guy by the name of Orion it was hard to tell the difference from Elvis and him but i dont know what he looked like as i only ever heard a tape my niece gave me of him
