The group was a Folk Group called Buffalo Springfield. The song was called "For What its worth." in 1966. It was a one hit wonder but they did have three albums!!!!

The first hit Neil Young had was with a band called the Squires, and the song was called "The Sultan". Although he met Stephen Stills around this time, they weren't in a band together until later. And if you're calling Buffalo Springfield a one-hit wonder...you need to go back to musicology school. Just my opinion.
