Danzig. Yay or nay?!
Question: Danzig.....I know there are Danzig fans in the world, but, Christ, for the life of me, I can't understand it.
Everything I've ever heard, (which I admit is limited to 4 or 5 songs) sounds like a yuk-yuk singer over the backdrop of a mediocre band. Hardly genius.
In case I haven't been absolutely clear here, my vote is one friggin giant resounding

MOSTLY nay.
FOR THE MOST PART I FIND HIS ATTEMPTS AT BEING DARK COMICAL.
I did find some of the tracks from Danzig III: How the Gods Kill to be decent, but he puts me in mind of people like King Diamond who were just WAY too pretentious.
Kinda a shame... I like his voice...makes me think of Jim Morrison's angry brother.

Yes I do like Danzig. I like the song How Gods Kill. He has an ok voice but it has been done already. He just rips off Elvis and Jim Morrison.

The only reason why I hold danzig a little closer to my heart is because the lead singer was the singer of the old misfits (RIP) whom i LOVE LOVE LOVE dearly.

Danzig was God when he led the Misfits (since then the Misfits have gone fast and far downhill)
