What do you think of this?

As I read this, I imagined Johnny Rotten punching Gerard Way in the face....seriously though, if they put out a self-called 'punk' album it's gonna make The Ramones turn around in their graves.
@->-->-

I'm excited for their new album, I'm still waiting for a laugh though...

I dont see anything wrong with this..

They can write a punk rock song if they want..
If you check out their older stuff (give em hell kid) it will instantly remind you of the misfits

Well i did laugh - at the part where they said 'they wont change the song cause the kids will get psised off'.
Lol.. they are kinda scared arent they.

Hey that's a good thing. I'm actually curious to see what they come up with. After all, they did say The Black Parade is dead. At least they admit their last album was over the top theatrics.

Wow. I could see MCR making a great punk rock album. I dont find it funny I find it exciting. But if some one like Cher made a freaking punk rock album I would die from laughter.

Actually you will be suprised to find out, just as I was... Their early stuff was very punk influenced. I guess they are getting back to their roots. I'm still not a fan though.

no
I'm a little concerned about the future because they're being "different", and whenever a band says they're going to change for their next album, you don't really know what to think or how it will all turn out
but I love MCR no matter what

Well, they did say in Guitar World that their favorite bands and influences were punk bands such as The Misfits and The Germs. However, I dont expect MCR to make a true punk album, but anything different will be better then the crap they have been releasing. I would rather hear MCR play disco. For sure.

im PO/ed
i like "the Black Parade" and their alternative sound better than the punk rock.
Their old songs were good, but it was "The Black Parade" that got me hooked on them.
A lot of my bands are doing weird things.
Silverstein's new album is okay, but I like their older sound.
I'm anxious about MCR's new album.
I just hope it's good.

What I don't get is why NME would want anything to do with such a sh!ty band as MCR.

hm...im not too sure? there is a band called finley....
they are from italy they are preety good....mcr sound like them a little maybe mrc got influence from them??? or maybe green day...but finley is a punk pop band....hey id like to hear new kids on the block cover a mcr song...joking
