Question: seriously..it's been what over 4/5 months since its been released? please can someone explain to why!? i am still hearing it on music channels and on the radio....what is sooo great about it??

Nothing. It was good the first... you know... MONTH. But now, I just wanna rip the radio out of the car and throw it out the window whenever it comes on. But instead, I change the channel.

Its an alrite song played a way bit too much but when i get my nieces listening to it and all they can call rock or rock pop music, Grunger thats how bad it is for them to like it.
It's not as if it's a good song either. The first 2 or 3 times it was ok but now it's just beyond annoying.
Rockstar was actually released on their latest album about 2 years ago..
It got most of it's success through the marketing..
The video with millions of celebs counts to most of it's success.
But you cant deny thats its a catchy song :P
And that's what the world is after apparently.

I completely agree, OK, so it is a good song, but its not that amazing, there are better songs out at the moment, why is everybody so obsessed about it. I can understand why its being played on music channels on the TV so much, cause it is a decent video, you've got to admit. Sorry, I know I'm not being helpful here and I'm not answering your question but I just had to have a wee rant about it.
