Question: Primary vocals are female, with male back up. Part of the chorus says "words don't mean a thing" I've heard it on the radio twice now and cannot find it anywhere. It's just a bit harder than Paramore, kind of like Evanesances very first song with the guy singing backgrounds. Please help.

Well, I am a big evanescence fan. So it might be them. there are a few songs where she has a guy backup singer. Go to this website: www.evanescencereference.info/wiki
then go to songs, click on each song look at the lyrics(some of them don't yet have the words) and see if any of them seem familiar. hope this helps.
