Answers: In my opinion, Megadeth's cover of Anarchy in the U.K by the Sex Pistols is one of the best.

I would say either:

1) the Jimi Hendrix cover of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower".

2) Nirvana's unplugged cover of "The Man Who Sold the World" by David Bowie

I liked the Under Pressure cover by My Chemical Romance.

My favorite is Under Pressure by My Chemical Romance and The Used.

Megadeth officially slaughtered that song.. That's one of the crappest cover along with Motorhead's cover of Pistol's God save the queen.

No Fun covered by the Sex pistols (iggy pop) is quite good.

Paulo Nutini's Cry me a River

Marilyn Manson-I put a spell on you
Ugly Kid Joe-N.I.B.
Type O Negative-Hey Joe(Pete)

Jimi Hendrix-All along the watchtower
originally by Bob Dylan

Bob even says thats Jimi's song

Either Astro Zombies [Misfits] covered by My Chemical Romance or Today [Smashing Pumpkins] Covered by Madina Lake

Tuesdays Gone covered by Metallica.

Hurt- Johnny Cash
Sweet Dreams- Marilyn Manson
Godhead- Eleanor Rigby

under the milky way by the church and covered by kill hannah.
amazing.

Metallica's cover of Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy" is a must hear.
Motley Crue's cover of the Beatles "Helter Skelter" is also one of my choices.

i like the covers that a new found glory made - kiss me was one of my faves of theirs. And Hand of doom covered by slayer

"Hurt" by Johnny Cash does it for me much better than the original.

Joey Ramone really elevates the Ramones' cover of "Needles In Pins" above the Serachers' version. It sounds a little more powerful and sincere when he says it.

"Johnny Was" is a rather average Bob Marley song, but Stiff Little Fingers turned it into an 8:00 punk rock epic with cool riffs and heartfelt vocals that doesn't get old for even a second. And don't get me wrong, I like Bob Marley a lot.

ya-I like the covers Metallica's garage days/5.98 e.p.

Metallica's "One" was covered pretty well by KoRn.

Man Who Sold The World - Nirvana originally by David Bowie

megadeath coevered sabaths paranoid

VAN HALEN'S cover of KINK'S "YOU REALLY GOT ME"

Motley Crue's version of Smokin in the Boys Room and Helter Skelter....they kick those songs on they're butt!

Apologize by Kill Hannah
and Under Pressure by The Used & MCR
