Timbland produced the song and exposed the group. Not many people would listen to a new white group (not being racist, this is just the r'n'b world) but by having his name within the song ment that the song would be an instant hit.
Apart from his lack in vocals in the song the main goal for the group was to be exposed. Timberland just helped them using his status in the r'n'b industry.
I don't really like alternative, but i loved the lyrics to the song so I think WITH timbaland is better. Honestly, I think timbaland saved the song, for rnb/hiphop lovers like me. I wouldn't have downloaded this song if Timbaland wasn't in it.
with or without timbaland the song is still wonderful..its just a matter of an art for a song that timbaland is there to feature.and all he says there is yeah,but its nice though.
