How do I paint and put a finish on my guitar??!

Question: of course take out all the hardware, and the neck, too...if that's possible

sand it, paint it, clear coat it...

or just sand it (and maybe finish it)...natural wood is the bomb

um i would seriously take it to a music store.because i mean at least if they mess up then you can sue them.lol

the first answer is right, but if i were you, leave it to a pro. if you screw up some of the hardware, it would cost a lot to get it fixed. not worth taking the risk. unless if you have some experience with taking guitars apart and such.
