they were a good group. i really like a lot of their songs. pretty is one of my faves. also like destiny's child.

they didnt do anything legendary during their time other than record sales and i know this is going to hurt ur stan heart but they actually in the end just turned out to be another music act

Buy, i bought almost every album, my mom listened to them and she got me hooked growing up! I was socked to find out about "left eye". rip, I wish they would come back and sing!

I think the reason they're highly regarded as the BEST FEMALE GROUP ever is because they were one of few. There was NOTHING particularly special about TLC collectively or individually. They're just OKAY.
I'm not a fan of most girl groups, but Salt-N-Pepa were legends.
I will sell on that one as well. They had a few good songs but other than that there have been better. There songs were cutesie at the time but I can't see myself pumping my fist and saying "that's my jam!" in 20 years when "Hat 2 Da Back" or any of their songs come on.

i guess i'd buy...TLC was more versatile then groups like Destiny's Child; they all just sing, TLC had singers with different tones, and an MC

Destiny's Child suck if Beyonce wasn't Hot wold anyone even like their ****. That Say My Name track is one of the worst songs I've ever heard and I don't like any of their tracks.
TLC was pretty good at least they aren't soppy and had some guts. I wouldn't go as far to say they were the Greatest Female Group Ever but I can't come up with another one at least in R&B/Hip Hop.
Diana Ross and the Supremes are better though and I guess that's R&B.
