I think the first album was fantastic but it all went downhill after that. They got too famous too fast, spent far too much time touring and not writing new songs. When the finally released their second album (at the same time some other bands that debuted around the same time were releasing their third albums!) it was a very poor attempt. Only 33 minutes long, only ten songs and only two of them were especially good.
It's a shame really, they were a really good band but they seemed to care more about touring and money than actually putting any quality into their work.
The band have actually carried on under a different name now Justin Hawkins has left. They're now called the Stone Gods.
I bought the album in 2003...I am so ashamed of it, it's in a dusty corner somewhere in my house.
