Strictly underground funk keep the CROSSOVER...What is EPMD's legacy in the !

Question: Will they go down as one of the greatest duos to ever bless the game or will they be forgotten. I know I have many good memories of them. What are yours?

EPMD's legacy, though gone will never be forgotten. The group was responsible for introducing Parish smith and Eric sermon to the masses, ( as well as DJ scratch). They schooled us in a crash course in business studies as well as teaching us that business is never personal. They also release one of the biggest hip hop anger management tracks ever "you gots to chill". EPMD will forever be in raps history books. With all the current hip pop kerfuffle, its unfortunate that they went 'out of business'

when i first heard of Rage Against the Machine's version of I'm Housin

you gots to chill,so whatcha saying, crossover, get the bozak
knick knack patty wack,rampage

They won't be forgotten, I'll always remember. Grew up on it, and lived off of it. But don't forget about BDP.

Their rhymes were always good, and Eric Sermons tight Production (EPMD,Redman,Keith Murray Das EFX ect.) made them legends too!

One of the greatest Duo's Ever. How can they be forgotten Def Jam was a phenomenal label back when they were a big act. You ask anyone over 30 who used to bump Hip Hop and they'll say either Eric B and Rakim or EPMD were their favourite group.
I personally like how all their album titles were a clever play around the word Business.
