Does anyone remember the band named, 'U.K.'?!

Question: They had a hit in about 1980, what was the name of the song?

Heck yeah!! I don't remember a "single" but the big FM radioplay was "In The Dead Of Night" which opened their 1st album - John Wetton, Bill Bruford, Alan Holdsworth, and Eddie Jobson (remember him ?)

The 2nd LP was good, too - only Bruford left and Bozizo(sp?) from Zappa, replaced him (and Holdsworth left with no Gtr replacement)

Just go buy the first record, Hippie!! - It's a Classic :)

EDIT - Unless you're thinking of U.K. Squeeze, which was the original name for Squeeze...

OH - I see "Steel & Bone" already had the answer - I concur - that's gotta be the track that you're looking for...

"In The Dead Of Night"! I love that band, especially for the live album. Those guys have all done plenty of other things before and since. Check out Yngwie Malmsteen's cover of "...Dead Of Night". Even if you hate him, it's an awesome cover.
