Any one know this song from the 80's lady from dirty dancing and I think eri!

Question: WHAT WAS THIS SONG CALLED AND WHO SANG IT????

Saw this on an 80's video special should have written it down, this was a popular song in the 80's. I think someone who was in dirty dancing did the "be my little baby" part. I thought it was an eric carmen song but maybe i am wrong. all i remember is in the video he was like in a stadium and the woman who i think was a dancer in dirty dancing would come on through out the song and sing "oh oh oh be my little baby" but i can't find the song any place cause i dunno if i am right about who sang it or the title can anyone help!?!?!

HAHA EDDIE MONEY! Not Eric Carmen. All though I can see how you can confuse the two. The song is called "Take me home tonight".

"Be My Baby" - The Ronettes

Eric Carmen - Hungry Eyes (From Dirty Dancing)

Isn't this right!???

be my baby by the ronnettes. that song was in dirty dancing.

This song was originally released in 1963

The night we met I knew I needed you so
And if I had the chance I'd never let you go
So won't you say you love me
I'll make you so proud of me
We'll make 'em turn their heads
Every place we go
So won't you please

(Be my be my baby) Be my little baby
(I want it only say) Say you'll be my darling
(Be my be my baby) Be my baby now
(I want it only say) Ooh, ohh, ohh, oh

I'll make you happy, baby
Just wait and see
For every kiss you give me
I'll give you three
Oh, since the day I saw you
I have been waiting for you
You know I will adore you
Till eternity
So won't you please

(Be my be my baby) Be my little baby
(I want it only say) Say you'll be my darling
(Be my be my baby) Be my baby now
(I want it only say) Ooh, ohh, ohh, ohh, oh

[INSTRUMENTAL]

So come on and please
(Be my be my baby) Be my little baby
(I want it only say) Say you'll be my darling
(Be my be my baby) Be my baby now
(I want it only say) Ooh, ohh, ohh, oh

(Be my be my baby) Be my little baby
(I want it only say) Ooh-oh-oh-oh, ooh-oh-oh-oh
(Be my be my baby) Oh-oh-oh, oohh...
(I want it only say) Oh, oh, oh, oh, oooohh...

Ahh, you're thinking of 'Take Me Home Tonight' by Eddie Money ft. Ronnie Spector(from the Ronettes who did 'Be My Baby')

I believe you're talking about the song "Take Me Home Tonight" by Eddie Money with Ronnie Specter singing the be my little baby part.

Eddie Money and Ronnie Spector
"Take Me Home Tonight"

Eddie Money "Take Me Home Tonight"

Take Me Home Tonight....Eddie Money w/ Ronnie Spector.
In the song she sings be my little baby, which is part of the lyrics to the song she did when she was the singer of the Ronettes.

Everyone saying "Take me Home Tonight" is correct. Eddie Money is the guy with the "Be my little baby" part sung by Veronica ("Ronnie") Spector who was the lead singer of the 60s group The Ronettes.

That section of lyric comes from "Be my Baby".

It's considered Eddie's song w/Spector as a special guest. (Since I'm assuming you're too young to remember the 60s music, Spector was the wife of Phil Spector, creator of the "Wall of Sound" production style, one of the best producers of pop music ever IMHO)
