Who is your favorite Jazz artist?!

Question: You're going to get a lot of people saying Miles Davis for the simple reason that he was the absolute best. He moved the genre on to undreamt heights with his constant search for a new direction. Check out Kind of Blue, On the Corner, Bitches Brew, In A Silent Way, Sketches of Spain or anything else by Miles Davis for that matter.
