The Hip Hop Police....?!

Question: Do you believe it's necessary to have a division at the police department for hip hop artists?

For those who aren't from the US (which is most of the regs), the hip hop police is a branch of the New York City Police Department that is designed to watch/observe/investigate hip hop artists from/travel to NYC.

No, I don't. But then, SOME rappers won't shut up about how violent they are and how little respect they've got for the law. But then, most of them are lying anyway. It doesn't help though.
I think though, if you're going to have a branch just to deal with that, then there should be someone dealing with Marilyn Manson and people like that. Rock stars are notorious for drug taking and fighting, so why do they not have a branch dedicated to them? It couldn't possibly be racism, now, could it?

Edit: Erm... I think you missed the sarcasm there. Of course it's about racism.

No, i don't. Why do they have Rock & Roll police? If rappers need to be monitored, drug addicts like Pete Doherty need to be monitored as well.

first there were the "popos"

now there are the "hi ho popos"

what...i never heard of that...but i think thats a waste of money why give them that if they F$%&ed up than thats on them get treated just as the rest of the citizens do....

no thats stupid

I think its stupid and very biased..
