all true punk has screaming of some sort..thats one of punk's defining characteristics..and im talking about real punk from the 80s...
fall out boy, 30 seconds to mars, red jumpsuit apparatus,the academy is, cute is what we aim for.
those are some good bands right there.
Without the screaming, why listen to it?

"The Smiths" are kinda 'punk-lite'....Morrissey was influenced by alot of the punk scene of the late 70's
They don't really scream in any of their songs, and they lyrics are very witty and ironic.

i'm totally into punk without screams[screaming rock really annoys me] so i can give you a HUGE, really, HUGE list ..but i'm gonna give you some bands and some good songs of them :)..but i'm pretty sure you heard of these ones..anyways, try the songs, maybe you don't know 'em.
so try out:
-----Blink182 my fav punk band, they sound so cool, and the lyrics are nice too.
