Question: Ok, I'm looking for newer country songs with a christian meaning, like Josh Turner has quite a few including Long Black Train and The Way He Was Raised. I'm just looking for suggestions so I can look into a few for possibly singing at church, so if you know any newer country christian songs let me know, thanks! :]

Look for an album on Itunes called "Barbed Wire Halo" by Aaron Watson. He's a wonderful singer who is a very committed Christian. He tours around Texas, and he has turned down several chances to record on Nashville labels because he is unwilling to compromise his time with his family. He is a very nice man who has high Christian standards for his band, and I have seen him sing religiously themed songs to crowds in some pretty rough bars.
Anyway, he released a gospel themed album called "Barbed Wire Halo" that has some great songs on it.
Emerson Drive, Rascal Flatts, Josh Turner, Jake Owen, and Garth Brooks have a bunch.
