I don't like them becuase I think they suck. I don't like their sound and I hate the fact that people abreviate their name with 'a7x'.

i used to like them but i just don't feel a connection w/ their music anymore. their older albums were decent but lately they just suck.

Kind of their songs are ok.I like much heavier music anyway
i used to like them, but their recent album is pretty bad, i feel they've lost the whole sense of why music is worthwhile, i feel that they do it for a check now, not the fans, they've changed so drastically from even City of Evil that I feel big bad warner bros has caused this, but i enjoy waking the fallen and city of evil immensely, but i think ill pass on their next cd, unless they decide to sound like pantera, which they said they would for their recent one
I love Avenged Sevenfold. They have amazing guitar riffs, which you won't find with most bands today. Their lyrics actually mean something and can relate to a lot of people.
and i bet most of the people that answered this (all of the girls) despised them before they came out with City of Evil...
Because they're incredibly cheesy.
They're alright, I'm not mad into them but listen to them from time to time.
