Because they are giving anyone with a "look" a record deal now. You don't even have to sing good anymore.
You speak the truth...todays music is nothing but sellouts produced by the man only to get money from the people who don't know any better!
Back in the day of real music they used real instruments and talented musicians who knew how to play more than one instrument instead of this computerised techno shite

i think now-a-days music isn't in a good place, sales aren't good, people are downloading it for free, and then the music is not as good, i've bought countless cds only to be dissapointed (e.g. Mary's latest) it's like they are contstatnly dropping albums to stay relevant, compete and not putting the time/effort into it.
Then also the content of the music, always about sex, girls, bling/riches and that gets old.
