A Perfect Circle or Tool?!
Question: It's hard for me to pick, because I love them both so much. I guess if I had to, I would go with Tool, since I have listened to them far longer.

Tool, but Pucifer is good too. I never really liked a perfect circle for some reason...

Sober is by far one of the best tool songs ever but a perfect circle has judith, which is one of their greatest songs, i think i would go with tool since there would be no circle without them....
Both are great, but I'll have to go with Tool they are Mysterious but yet fascinating.

Hard choice since our lord Maynard fronts both bands. I would have to pick Tool though. APC , is a great band but Tool shows Maynards range.
Edit: I am surprised that so many people love Sober. Its my least favorite song by Tool. ( a bad boyfriend reference doesn't help)
I think that my all time favorite song.. this week is Fourty Six & 2. There are many great songs..... MANY!!!

I have never met a Tool fan that did not like APC so why not have both. There is no conflict because both bands don't play at the same time or tour together.
I really love them both. I know most people are going to say Tool because it's harder and it's all around better but I really love alot of the songs by A Perfect Circle because they are a great style of writing and the musical aspects are amazing. Now, don't get me wrong, Tool is amazing in their own way. They made me see that bass isn't an instrument in the back anymore. But I just love A Perfect Circle's music. I can't explain why.

Both are quite amazing, but I've always had a thing for Tool.
Sober and Vicarious are great songs.
I'm leaning more towards Tool for this one.
That is a toughie, but I think I like Tool a little more, but only because they are harder, more of a metal band. Tool is also fabulous but they are a lot more mellow. Sober is a great song! I also love the song Schism and Intolerance. In A Perfect Circle my fav song right now is 3 Libras, it is very well put together and I love the lyrics.

Tool by far. It's way more creative, APC is good but it's more straight forward rock as opposed to the off time experimental metal that is tool. APC is a poor man's tool. for sure.
i was just talking about seeing tool at the first edgefest like 16 years ago and how much i loved seeing them!! it's hard to believe that this year is edgefest 17 already.... it seemed like just yesterday i was watching the first one....
