Honestly what is your opinion of Carrie Underwood?!

Question: Having heard both of her albums, and having the opportunity to meet her for a moment at a show last year, I think she really brings a lot "to the table," She has a very "bubbly" energetic personality, and her new-found fame hasn't gone to her head. That is, she isn't making any obvious impractical demands and still accepts the fact that she's in "learning curve" mode.
As such, Carrie listens to her musical advisors.

She's very marketable as she's attractive (which shouldn't matter, but unfortunately does,) and has a good command of fundamental pitch, range, and good->very good C&W phrasing.

Her dual tour dates this year will allow her to firm up her fan base and almost certainly gather new listeners to her established audience.

Although her "sophomore album, "Carnival Ride" is/was a hit, she needs another couple of top 10 "zingers" and a third solid-selling album to fully establish herself as a force in country music. The next Album in addition to her '08 concert schedule will decide wheter or not she has the staying power necessary to move into the REAL big time. It's hard to say, but based on my experience, I think she's got a better than 50/50 chance to accomplish this. Then, and considering that the Faith Hills' and the like are srating to wind down a bit, Carrie can sieze any void they leave behind.

Next move to super stardom will almost certainly be more about her managment and promoters abilities to "sell her" more than anything Carie can do on her own. she's already doing everything she can to help herself.

She may never be another phenom like Faith, Martina, etc. But she's hotter than a lot of established stars already. She's outselling Lee Ann Womack and even encroaching on Sara Evans regarding sales and draw.

the rest of '08 and certainluy 2009 will determine whether or not she's here to stay. I'm personally pulling for her as she's a nice kid with a lot of talent.

Her A&R people have generally provided her with a good mix of modern country and near-pop/xover material; particulary on her Carnival Ride Album/CD.

As having grown up with country music, I think she is the whole package right now.
Shw is beautiful, talented, and able to sing soft or sassy.

i think she is good
she has talent, shes pretty, and she acn sing soft or loud haha
shes awsome

I never actually listened to any country music but carrie made me listen to them. i love her songs, she is amazing, talented and i've got her 2 albums. i wish that one day she might read the songs i wrote

love her music, but its hard to sing along to!
those high notes kill me lol

I think she is a very beautiful and talented girl!

I'm not a fan, i do not like her, i don't get her. She IS pretty, that's for sure, but c'mon----before he cheats----no offence, that song is silly, it's got no passion or anything, its kinda boring, and so are all of her songs. they aren't "deep' you know? And she is too blonde for me to call her a beauty, i mean c'mon she's so blond she's almost transparent-- what i mean is theres nothing special about her, thats the way i see it.

Beautiful voice, beautiful body, beautiful charm. She is the All-American girl that she sings about.

oh she is good at singing!!!

beautiful voice. its undeniable.

however....when she opens her mouth to talk......omg. it all goes downhill. lol. shes annoying when she talks.

shes really pretty too.

the music video for all american girl is A DISASTER!! ahh its embarassing. lol.

overall i like her but like anyone else....she definately has her flaws

Typical pop singer who for some inexplicable reason wants to be called "country."
