Question: Phrenology and The Tipping Point are both a little abstract, even by The Roots' standards. I have a suspicion that they were at least partially trying to make albums to fulfill their contract with Geffen so that they could leave.

Game Theory has them sounding more...not relaxed, exactly. But more in tune with what they're doing.
