The Black Parade Is Dead!, My Chemical Romance's three-disc set & second live DVD, the first one being Life on the Murder Scene, is expected to be released on April 22, 2008 and May 5 in the UK according to Play.com.[1][2] The DVD will feature a My Chemical Romance's performance as "The Black Parade" from on October 7, 2007 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. The DVD would feature My Chemical Romance's performance of all their tracks from the band's 2006 album, The Black Parade. Recently, two posts have been left on the bands official site, the first being from February 1 reading "El desfile ***** esta muerto.", which is Spanish for "The Black Parade is Dead"; each word links to a picture. The second post which was posted on February 5 reads "The Black Parade Is Dead! Coming soon." There are two links to photos of their show in Mexico City.

On September 24, 2007, the group's lead vocalist Gerard Way has stated the group plans to release two more singles from The Black Parade, both of which will feature music videos directed by Way himself. Way also stated that bassist, and brother, Mikey Way will rejoin the group on tour, following his break from touring after his March 2007 marriage.

Mikey has now returned to the band and is touring with them as normal.

Despite the group saying they would not write songs until 2008, they played a new song recently, although technically untitled it has garnered the unofficial, fan given name "Stay" as it was the only discernible word at the song's first performance.[22] On November 15th it was reported that Frank Iero and Bob Bryar would be sitting out the UK tour dates, with Bob having wrist problems and Frank having to return home to be with his family, guitar tec Matt Cortez will replace Frank, and Pete will replace Bob

it better not be a depressing rumor, cuz thats the day before my b-day... i know what i want. but last i heard there hasn't been an official release date yet

I would not trust the rumours, or any myspace page other than the official My Chemical Romance one. Sad as it may be. There are a few sites wuch as wiki and play.com who are claiming dates for the CD/DVD to be released but i doubt any of them are true.

I guess we're just going to have to wait til we hear from the band on their official sites:

I can't wait for it to be released though! Hope they announce it soon =]

Well they posted this on their official site:
5 February 2008 - 5:22pm
The Black Parade Is Dead!
Coming Soon.

So that must mean its not a rumor..

..But the release date has been pushed back..

(March 20th post)

I can't wait for it to come out!

It was supposed to be the 22nd, but that has turned out to be the date of the release of the DVD's trailer for advertisement.

Its now been stated that it will be June 08 when it comes out.

Hope this helps.

This is official info from reprise.

Albsolute Punk said June 24th, according to this website : http://frank-iero.net/category/general, but surely it would say on the officialy MCR website first?
