yeah their old stuff was pretty awesome. But i love the new album and how they wrote and produced the songs themselves. they are all great muscians and are my fave band ever!
they're ok. i used to be totally obsessed with seize the day haha. i dont really listen to them much, but i think they're ok. its kinda lame that they dont even write their own music though.
They are a great band that actually have talent. Sin is definitely one of the best guitarists out there today. The only thing that I dislike is that the guitar harmonies are often done in high notes and can tend to blend together and stay the same. And his sweep picking can be a bit annoying.
However, I thought their self-titled CD was one of the best CDs in a long LONG LONG time, along with Radiohead's In Rainbows and Muse's BH&R. Too bad it didn't sell as much as City of Evil...
Avenged Sevenfold ROCK! I'm a drummer and The Rev is just amazing. They are definitely one of the better rock bands at the moment. They sure kick **** out of all the poser bands.

OMG!!! I LOVE A7X!! I got to see them in concert last year and they were amazing me and my friends were first in line and we waited 12 hours in line just to see them!!!

They suck, their vocalist sucks and the music would be better if it wasn't obvious that it was metalcore attempting cheesy hard rock and southern influenced music. The lyrical content sucks, their gimmick sucks, their music videos suck, their nicknames suck, the pantera cover they did sucked and their target audience is gullible.

S/T - I havent heard much of it. Almost Easy is alright, and Critical Acclaim is pretty good. Dunno about the rest though.

..I only listen to them once in a while though, because I haven't got use to their music yet.. but I'm sure I will some day..
