Screamo ftw! xD Pop is just a watered down version of rock music with a beat. I love AFI, The Used, Thursday, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Chiodos, Bullet For My Valentine, Senses Fail.. there's heaps of awesome screamo bands =]
i like alternative uh pop is ok but scremo not so much i dont like it too much

Thats a very strange comparison. I mean, thats like Apples or Oranges there.....
Anyway, if I had to choose, I'd say both. Somedays I'm sick of sugary-bubblegum stuff and somedays I want it more low-key than the screaming hardcore stuff. I'd say a little of both and a lot in-between.
WTF is screamo? I mean can't we just call it Hardcore or Metal? Give me a small list of band names. I'm from the oldschool, we all just called it music...
i absolutely love screamo but i like pop to like i listen to linkin park and The Red Jumpsuit apparatus which are screamo but i also like pop bands like The Pink Spiders and the plain white t's!
