What do you think of Em's list?!

Question: ....I got a list here's the order of my list that it's in.
It goes, Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie, Andre from Outcast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me.
But in this industry I'm the cause of a lot of envy, so when I’m not put on this list the **** does not offend me....

The list is strange, but I like it.

First of all, is Reggie referring to Redman? If so, THAT'S his number one?? Seems very strange. But hey, it's his list, Em can name who he wants. If it were my list, I'd probably put Andre from Outkast at #1, but that's just me.

Second, it seems weird that Jay-Z is so far above Nas. And I also think Em is being humble by putting himself last. Remember when Nas said that Em killed Jay on Jay's own track?

My third comment is this: Em's list is very focused on the '90s and later. What about the original MCs from the '80s? No KRS-One or Melle Mel or Big Daddy Kane? Those guys had serious skills. Legends. But like I said, it's Em's personal preference.

But if you're interested in other people's lists, check out Kool Moe Dee's book "There's a God on the Mic." He lists who he thinks are the 50 greatest rappers of all time. Interesting choices.

Eminem should be first, then Fabolous, then me.

Lil Wayne over all you dumb slut!

Ol' Dirty should be first.....

when you said Em's list, I thought this question was directed at me, since Em is my nickname.
I make all kinds of lists, when i go to the grocery store, things i need to do that day, cleaning tools, recipes...
it helps me pretend to be organized.

The Em's list that you are talking about, im not so sure.

Pac should be number one. you dont even know true rap. plus, wheres biz markie??

I knew exactly what this question was referring to, as I've pondered this list as well.

I've never figured out who "Reggie" was, so if you know, please let me know.

If I had to make a top 10, Eminem, Jay, Biggie, Andre 3 (supremely underrated), Tupac, and Nas would all be on it...

Some others, off the top of my head, would be Big L (em shows him love as well on "Renegade," I believe... listen to "7 minute Freestyle" featuring Jay-Z - from 1995), Black Thought of the Roots (also extremely underrated) and Missy Elliot.

yeah he is talking about redman...his real name is reggie

but i dont see how he is number 1...on a list with biggie, pac, nas, jay and others...lol

if you ask me, NAS is always overlooked because Jay was more widely known from having more radio hits...but when it comes down to it...jay's best songs were not songs played on the radio....and I will argue with anybody that nas could possibly have the greatest album of all time with Illmatic...

the list is nas/pac/big/jay....and everybody else is a whole level lower
