Question: please explan why.

Answers: please explan why.

"Walk On The Ocean" by, Toad The Wet Sprocket

It is a song about growing up and leaving home. About developing your own identity apart from your family, but at the same time remembering who you are.

This song has been a comfort to me whenever I have felt like I have grown up too much too quickly. I listen to the song and remember where I came from and know that I will always have those bonds with my family. I carry them with me.

Blood and Thunder, by Mastodon...it's about the Ahab in all of us

hmm, i have a lot. On the Radio by Regina Spektor is very good, it reminds me of my love for "him". Delecate by Damian Rice also means a lot to me, because it explains how my relationship with him was. It didnt mean much....

"The Scientist" by Coldplay. The first time I heard that song I fell in love with it instantly. It's the kind of song that I can listen to when I'm happy, or even when I'm just really having a bad day. The song is beautiful to me, and it will forever stay that way in my opinion.

mad world- gary jules
the emotion that goes into is intense

and donnie darko is one of my most favorite movies ever.

Ledisis` Alright -This song means the most to me because it explains the ups and downs we go through in life and how people come and go but in the end everthing will be alright!

i really like insomnia 411 by roosevelt franklin. great lyrics. the piano kills it.

Our Lady of Sorrows by MCR.

You can't feel alone and listen to that song at the same time

Also My Way Home is Through You (Come on Angel don't you cry!). And Disenchanted (Shut Up and Play)... Not so much the version on the album though.

It's really cheesy, but 'Give Me Something To Believe In' by Poison was playing when my dad called to say that he and my mom were divorcing. I just sat there and listened to the song. It serves as a reminder for me now, seeing how far I've come.

What a CHEESY song to be tied to!

Deja Vu, by Beyonce'

It describes moi....

"Dark as a Dungeon" by Merle Travis is my favorite song of any genre. It's a very simple song, but it packs a wallop about why miners are miners. Having lived in a mining region as a teenager (not too far from the area depicted in "Paradise" by John Prine), I was mortified that kids didn't seem to be the least bit interested in doing well in school. This song points out why: they were just marking time until they were old enough to follow their dads and granddads into the mines.

In pop/rock, it's probably "It's All in the Game" by Tommy Edwards. It's an absolutely beautiful song about love, with an exquisite melody (which was written by U.S. vice president Charles Dawes) accented by Edwards' wonderful voice.

One by Metallica, it talks about how war overpowers us and ruins peoples lives.

I have two songs that mean the most to me:

1. I Can Only Imagine: this played at the funeral of one of my teachers. He was more than a teacher to me; he was a friend, a mentor, and a third parent. I, like many of his students, was very close to him. We had a huge concert in his memorial, and on one of the video montages, this song played, as well as at his funeral.

2. Tears in the Floor of Heaven (I believe that's the name, I could be wrong): My grandma told me one day not too long before she passed away that she wanted my mom to sing that song at her funeral. Unfortunately, her death was sudden, and my mom didn't know the song, so she didn't sing it. The song "Fly," be Celine Dion was played instead.

I know these are really emotional reasons, but they're the ones that mean the most to me. Whenever I hear these songs, I smile at the memories of the two of them. :]

Hey Jude. This was written for Julian Lennon when Cynthia and John Lennon were divorcing. Divorce has affected me as well. When things get tough I can listen to this song and then I feel better.

Im Not Okay - My Chemical Romance, its just one of the first songs i heard when i was drowning in depression 3 years ago.

well songs that mean the most to me ment the most to me when my girlfriend cheated and broke up with me which was My Chemical Romance - "I Don't Love You" which was sad when i played it and helena which was very moving and the most powerful moving meaningful song is Mariah Carey- "We Belong Together" which made me cry over her day and night and i find that song so romantic

Whitney Huston's Greatest Love of All

Because of my Most Missed Memory of my "big brother" Cesar who went to be with the Lord in 1988...It was the time he took my brother Glenn and I fishing and we got lost in the woods and when he told us he did not know how to get out my brother said "hey lets try going this way" ... well he lead us to the way out and That is when Cesar replied " Like Whitney Huston said let the children lead the way" ...Another memory was the time I believe he said good by to my brother and I, he kissed my hand and shook my brothers hand and said "do me a favor buddy take care of your sister for me" The next morning he was found dead. :( I will never for get Cesar he made such a huge impact in my life & troubling childhood!

There is really too many to count but I guess I'd pick "Dead Flowers" by the Rolling Stones & "Imagine" by John Lennon! The songs explain themselves!

Alan Parsons Project - Old and Wise

and

Lullaby by Spill Canvas. Those lyrics are perfect to me

"Serenity" by Godsmack......amazing lyrics, vocals and music from one of my favorite bands of alltime.....it sounds different from the rest of their music, so it shows the versatility of Godsmack......I also, even got my mother into them with that song...she has it as a ringtone and everything....I have a feeling I will always think of my mom when I hear that song...so it will continue to mean a lot to me for years to come....

Also, lately "Stabbing the Drama" by Soilwork has meant a lot to me lately....great lyrics, amazing voice and talent from that band....plus I like the meaning of the song and the title of the song a lot....mostly because I hate drama in any form.....its a really intriguing and catchy song....Soilwork has continued to impress me and has quickly become one of my favorite bands.....
