My guitar gets out of tune really quickly. Should I replace the strings?!

Question: Normally new strings go out of tune frequently until they are "settled in". When you put new strings on bend/stretch them around a bit re-tune then stretch them a bit more (bending the strings at different places on the fret board) - push and pull the strings - this will settle them down.
As far as strings go, after the initial settling in they tend to be pretty stable. They tend to lose harmonics (go dead) when they get "too old". I think you might have another issue, Do you have a whammy bar? I suggest taking it to a music store
for an evaluation. They shouldn't charge anything to give you an idea of what the problem could be or is. It needs to be looked at by someone who knows guitars. Not one for this Q&A to answer well.

Yes!

could be...or your neck needs adjustment, or your machine heads need adjustment/replacement...i had to take off the cover and tighten down one of mine...it was a pretty simple adjustment with a philips screwdriver

If that happens even w/ new strings, then it's def' not a string problem. Could be the neck or tuning pegs.

the tunning keys would be the prob.. that also happens to my friend's guitar.

i probably would

when you tune your guitar always tune up into the pitch your tuning to... such motion will help the tuning pegs hold the string in tune... and yes your strings could need changing

maybe, if that doesnt do anything then dont replace them. bend them a whole bunch, this gets the strings broken in a little and they stay in tune way better. u gota bend them for at least 2 min each string.
