i agree about joe walsh...as much as i enjoyed the eagles when he was with them, i like his solo work, as well as his james gang stuff, much better

I enjoyed most of Don Henley's solo work as much as anything he did with the Eagles.
Love the Rolling Stones and everything each one of the guys in it do separately!!!
i love love love the red hot chili peppers and i absolutely love john frusciante's solo work. i couldn't possibly decide on which i like better.
Fleetwood Mac are one of my 5 equal favourite bands, and the solo career of Stevie Nicks makes her one of my 2 equal favourite artists.

Well, I grew up with Led Zeppelin and must say that both Page and Plant and solo Plant rock, Jimmy Page with Roy Harper on Jugular is also something else!
Love the new Robert Plant album and the Mighty Rearranger is possibly my favourite.
Jack White comes to mind, but I like the White Stripes better then the Raconteurs.
I like Bon Iver, Justin Vernon's new act better then his work with DeYarmond Edison, but that might not count because they broke up...
I love Tool. I also adore A Perfect Circle. I think its about even.
I like the side project Stone Sour but Slipknot is so much better.

Umm well I like System Of a Down and Serj Tankian's solo work and also AFI and their side project Blaqk Audio. Another good one is Green Day and their side group Fox ....something. Haha. =)
