In your opinion, which coast is better? West or East?!
Question: i was a fan of west coast with 2pac and everybody, but so far, u could say the west is losing it.
rite now, im 4 the east, because ive been listenin 2 a lot of Nas, Krs-one, wu tang clan, and biggie.
idk, i think theyre both equal and legendary in makin rappers.

East Coast has been much more consistant, the East have always had hot artists, whereas every once and a while the West Coast will just fade away and you will hear absolutly nothing from them until somebody drops some good music, and then once again they will fade away.
Music East Coast, Better women and Weather the west.

It doesn't matter. Stop seperating artists based on where they live. If you're hot then you're hot no matter where you live.
East Coast. The East Coast is the birthplace of hip hop. It's where it all started. Some of the greatest artists have come out of the East Coast. 1520 Sedgwick Ave is where it all began. Kool DJ Herc was the guy who would play the instrumental part of some song and hold parties. Coke La Rock started rappin over the music and becam the first MC. East Coast artists tend to focus more on lyricism. Well the old school East Coast artists did. It's also the birthplace of hardcore hip hop.
Oh yeah...let's just SPLIT the Hip Hop Community into East & West so we can have more beef & people arguing like little kids in school saying.."My sneakers are better then your's!"
This is a waste of time trying to create a civil Hip Hop war....Hip Hop should be TOGETHER no matter where it's from...better together then to be alone...

Real ; you forgot one thing . Tupac was actually born and raised in NY, he just claimed westside after he moved 2 cali . And on the east you're forgetting cats like DMX, all of dipset (Cam'ron, Juelz, Jim Jones and so on...), Kanye, Ludacris, D-Block, Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep and many more . So i'd say east side by far is better .
