Answers: whoooooo born in Burwood, victoria, melbourne,Australia the best bass player in the world isnt american:D

Well he's never made it publicly known.......not to my knowledge at least. He also has our American accent, so maybe he was born in Australia, but he must have been raised here, so to that I say thank you Australia!
I don't know if I would consider him the best in the world, I can think of a few others that can out-do him......but not many.
If you're into heavy bass-driven music, check out Béla Fleck, if you already haven't. He's pretty amazing. Or Rhino from Mudvayne?
So which city was flea born in, you listed 3?
Have a good one.

No they just don't know what that means

Yeah and thats saya alot about your country if thats all you have to brag about. U Dumba$$

Australians don't. We know he's an aussie and we are very good at adopting people who have a close realtionship to australia but live in america. yes, he is a good bass player.

Honestly, Americans dont really care but Im sure true die hard RHCP fans do care and recognize...this is the same Flea, right?

He was only born in Australia, he moved to the States when he was 5, so he's more American than he is Australian.
He doesn't even have an Australian accent.

Me as an American, if I like an artist I don't care what their nationality is. Talent should be recognized without having to take into consideration nationality.

Or are you trying imply that Americans select their talent by nationality? Just in case, do a search for the current episodes of American Idol and you will find that even though the name of the show is "American Idol" there are two contestants that are not American.

Thanks for pointing that out. My 15 year old, just told me, you
must be the last person to know that. Well I really feel old
mow.LOL Australians, have always had my respect. I knew a
great bunch in Vietnam. 68~69. BLESS YOU ALL.

Ignore? I didn't realize band members had to address their heritage. Should we have a parade for him or some sort of awards banquet? Personally, I could really care less. I focus more on the music than the personalities of a band.

Didn't he spend a good chunk of his early years in LA, though. I'm pretty sure he doesn't mind being considered either nationality...I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but the chilis have a modest amount of fondness for their home-city...

Americans just don't care.

Half of Hollywood is Canadian and nobody but Canadians have the need to acknowledge that.

I'm Australian and don't even know the guy XD

Baha. If you do I wouldn't be offended, besides the weather Australia and Canada are VERRRYYY similar [Money, beer, stuff]

lmao.
