Question: I am 13 years old, and most people tell me i have a great voice (not including people who hate me) normaly i whould just join my school choir, but its after school and there are no after school bus's nor NE1 to pick me up. i dont think i could take lessions right now due to the fact that my mom dosent like spending money. (I havent talked to her yet) I have a really low voice because im tall so i find contry to be my easy spot but i like rock music. pluse my band is finaly getting together and im lead singer. dose some one know of a good online help page (perferably free) that can help improve my singing?

i'm 16 and have a debut album coming out later this year, and i was fortunate enough to get great voice lessons. i sing pop and r&b, so you sorta have to be good to be big in the industry. i actually took lessons from an opera major who sang in New York, and she said always to open your mouth correctly, such as when you sing "Ah", you should be able to fit 2 fingers going up and down in your mouth. sounds kinda pervish, but thats the best way to describe it. also, never lift your head up to get to the high notes, that will only cause severe strain, and eventually bleeding and horrid headaches and earaches...believe me i know and learned. when performing, always show expression in your eyebrows, as people are most focused on your face. that means stand still. i like to rest my hands on the mic boom, but thats not always nessecary. lol. i'm sure if you googled voice training, you'd manage to find something. or on youtube.
hope i was some help

take voice lessons and/or join the choir @ your church or school both will help. I sing in the band @ my church & I love it! ? have fun ?

simple. take voice classes, practice a lot, try to get others point of view, accept both compliments and critics equally, and be confident of urself. Have fun ya!

PRACTICE....karaoke is one of the best way to practice....search youtube for some vocal exercises videos...try this vids:http://www.youtube.com/results?search_qu...
the more you vocalize the wider the range of your voice will get and you will have a better control of your voice...

You can use this great software: Canta at http://www.singintune.org . There is a free demo version you can download. It will help you to sing in tune and to improve your singing.
