I need help to convince my parents?!
Question: Alesana is coming to Madison and is only like 20 min. away from me. two of my friends and I want to go see them but my parents don't want to let me go. How should I convince them to let me go?

A great way to convince them is to get someone "cool" who is just a bit older and who your parents "trust"... to say they'll go with you. That used to work with my parents...... I always managed to get the girl who babysat us to take me and my friends to concerts and dances etc...
Once we got there we'd agree to meet at a certain area at a specific time and it always worked out!

ok either sneak out or just tell them to drive you and pick u up at the end of the concert
you should tell your parents that they could tag along. they'll probably agree. just avoid them the whole concert lol
here's something i learned from experience:
-get good grades and parents will leave you the fck alone.
honest to god bro, you're a teen, yes? do what's expected of you and you can get away with anything
just explain to them that you wish to enjoy your teen years and that one night out won't do any harm. you're growing and need to express yourself through moshing! okay, maybe not the last part, but you get what i'm saying... =)
I think that you should ask them if they would like to chaperone.
tell them that u'll pay for the concert...if that helps

um.. Mom can i PLEASE go to the concert?? please mom but say it like in a really nice voice. If that dosnt work then begg and promise to do a hole bunch of chores and tell them how much u like that band and then say come on mom u were my age once didnt u have a fav band that u really wanted to see then that will make them think back then there a posability that theyll let u go.

Ask them what it would take for them to allow you to go.
You don't necessarily need to convince them.. but rather find out if they are willing to bend on the issue on their terms.
Consider their arguments
(these are just possibilities)
do they think you're going to get wasted/drunk/etc?
thats what my mom thought when i tried to convince her to let me go to a rock concert, but for some bizarre reason, she believed me when i said, "would i honestly do that" (and shes pretty...well, strict)
so give it a shot!
think about other possibilities that ur parents are considering that might happen if u should go.
Well when are they coming exactly?
Just tell them you only get to be a teenager once in your life, and that's it. Tell them you will pay for it and get a ride from somebody else.
BTW I whent to the Alesana concert, and I didn't even get to see them cause I had to leave early so that sucked.
