I checked his iPod and he has Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Linkin Park, Daughtry, Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, One Republic, My Chemical Romance, Rascal Flatts .
He doesn't listen to rap/hip-hop.
Is it normal?

yes! that is normal. Some people hate Rap. Also, people go through phases with their music. He has a great list of artists on his ipod right now. I listen to Rap and I listen to all artists listed there as well.
Pop, a little of each across the board. There's nothing with not listening to rap/hip hop.
of course its normal, loads of guys listen to different stuff to wat they r known for listening to.... dnt be worried by it one bit =]

Its normal not to listen to rap. Most people don't. Though his playlist sounds very uh... "girly".
All of that is better than rap/hip-hop - if you ask me.
Normal? Geezm - everybody gets to have their own taste in music.
Plus - you don't know. Maybe his ex-girlfriend downloaded all of her stuff on HIS i-pod and now the genre looks kind of girly.
