Question: i was never a big fan of either but i ran across loggins on rhapsody and when i listened to "this is it", i was like, wait a minute! could kenny loggins' singing style be an unoticed but huge influence in pop music to this day?

Funny you should ask this question...I have noticed that Luke Menard from this season's American Idol sounds very similar to both artists. The week I was hoping Luke would pick a Kenny Loggins song, he picked a Wham! song instead, and was voted off...I still liked his performances.
