They're just more catchy
they are both a pretty good match, but i like whitesnakes singer better, also more catchy, but poison's guitarist shreds!

Poison absolutely sucks compared to Whitesnake. Whitesnake was one of the BEST Blues Rock Bands on the Planet from 1978-1984. I hate the fact that most People only know them as a Hair metal Band which they most definitely WERE NOT. Poison was excreable, wretched.

I'm not much of a fan of either one. But Poison had more hits. The only good song Whitesnake ever made was Still of the Night in my opinion.

poison has an awsome guitarist and honistly i dont care what other people say i think that the singer of poison is awsome!
