What' Your Favorite Bob Seger Song? Why?!

Question: You'll accompany me......My friend used to sing it before he passed away.

Answers: You'll accompany me......My friend used to sing it before he passed away.

beautiful loser, its a cool song what can I say

Jodie Girl. Reminds me of my life.

Right now it's "American Storm"

Overall and of all time it's "Till It Shines"

Traveling Man. I especially like the version that seques into Beautiful Loser.

Turn The Page

Dark, Dirty, Seedy story about life on the road touring and playing music... the side most people don't realize when they romanticize or glamorize a band 'touring'

Probably, Still The Same...I don't know why I just like the story it tells.

We got tonight, because the night I had my first date with girlfriend of 8 years was playing on radio while we were eating a candle light dinner I prepared. It was love at first sight when we met at the bar & I don't drink but occasionally

It's a tie: Turn the Page (because it paints what I would imagine to be a very realistic picture of a touring bands' life) & Night Moves ('cause for me, I'm really beginning to appreciate the meaning of "autumn closin' in.")

Ramblin' Gamblin' Man from his early years, maybe late 60's, always gets me up!

Turn the Page - He didn't know, but it is the story of my life, afterwards it is 'Against the Wind - I'm still searching---. Good luck to all....

Many favorites, but Turn the Page stands out.....probably because my High School English Teacher used it for us as comparative poetry along with other classics like Bungalow Bill.

I also like Roll Me Away....if only for the lyric...."12 hours out of Mackinaw City...stopped in a bar to have a brew."

I'm all about some Night Moves

Night Moves. For some reason it reminds me of my old boyfriend and I. It's like in my mind I turn old memories of him into kind of a music video in my head whenever I hear the song. I don't know why but I guess I just associate him with the song. And I know it sounds weird.. Well it is. Oh well.. Who knows.

Turn the Page. I saw him in concert about 20 years ago and when he did this song you could hear a pin drop til the end and then the place went crazy...love bob seger

Old Time Rock N Roll because people who normally wouldn't think of dancing get up and dance their pants off. It is a fun song with some much spirit!

Like a Rock Thinking about days gone by

Turn The Page, for its soulfulness

against the wind. autobiographical for me? =)

Ooh this is a tough one as I like allot of his stuff. You might as well ask me what my favorite beer is.

Sunspot Baby

Rock & roll never forgets. It reminds me of important things going on in my life, not to mention it's a great song...his voice was so perfect for it.

NIGHT MOVES!!
:-D
I just love his gravely voice and the way the guitar fades in and out during the song. The song itself is sexy - like it has its own existance or something.

Turn The Page and it really doesnt need an explanation lol

my personal fave is we got tonight, really just because it's so simple and beautifully written, definitely one of the best love songs ever written...and it shows off his true abilities, considering he wasn't exactly known for writing love songs

Another Great Question, Nora.
Being from the Detroit Area, I have always liked Bob Seager even when he wasn't that popular.
I would have to say 2+2, or back in 72, they are both equally my favorite's.

They all kinda suck.
