If you had asked me 2 years ago, I would have said Black Label Society, hands down.
Ask me now... and I'll have to say Down.
The last couple BLS albums have been less than stellar, while Down's latest is the best of their career, and Phil's best vocal delivery to date!
Definitely a great question... but I'll go with Down, unless Zakk surprises me this year.

I love BLS too, but I find it hard to listen to their music for a long period of time. Down are my favourite active band.
down. bls tunes are all starting to sound the same. zakk's same solo over and over and over is getting old!

TOUGH QUESTION MY MAN! You could flip a coin on this one. BUT I'm going with DOWN here! When I saw them last year, they completely blew the doors off the place. However, you can never go wrong seeing Mr. ZAKE MAN!!!

Down...every BLS album since The Blessed Hellride, with the exception of Hangover Music Vol. VI, sounds the same to me. Nothing new...its almost like, if you hear one BLS song, you have heard them all.
