Song Related to...?!
Question: I have a school assignment where i need to find a song relating to the 7 themes of catholic social teaching. the 7 themes are :
-Dignity of work and the rights of workers
-Solidarity
-Stewardship
-Option for the poor and vulnerable
-Rights and responsibilities
-Participation: Call to family and community
-The life and dignity of the human person
What i need, is a song that has some of these teching in them. I dont listen to a whole lot of music, so i could use some help. Also i would like to stay away from Jon Lennon music or the band U2.
Getting some song choices would really help me out, thanks.

Well, Dear Mr. President by Pink might work, but it might have some curse words in it.
Umm...I think that'd fit in "Dignity of work and the rights of workers" and "Solidarity" and "Option for the poor and vulnerable" and "Rights and responsibilities" and possibly "the life and dignity of the human person."

participation - maybe 'what's going on?' by either martin gaye or a perfect circle... both versions are good but i prefer the perfect circle version..
dignity of work + workers - 'working class hero' there's a version by green day if you really want to keep away from john lennon :P
