I would say perhaps Ugly Duckling's JOURNEY TO ANYWHERE or something from Pigeon John might fit that bill.
that hands down go to any will smith album and some top mentions are ll cool j, bow wow, kanye, and the radio versions of snoop dogg, but young kids should no be listening to hard core rap anyways
