Work with me on this trying to explain the best way possible?!

Question: how do u think a rapper feels when hes in a group but doesnt seem to follow the views of the group leader or the stand-out guy in the group example=young buck he doesnt agree with alot of what 50 does and says so he decides to venture out to do other things but is still loyal how do u think other rappers feel when they are being boxed in by the leader of the group and if u can give any other examples do u think these artists could stand on their own

I'm not sure if you remember 'Leaders of the New School' with Busta Rhymes,Charlie Brown,Dinco D (very underated mc) and Cut master Milo. Busta was the obvious standout as time progressed, but he and Charlie B. had some internal Beef. Once LOTNS appeared on A Tribe called quest 'Scenario' Busta outshined even Tribes members and that was his gateway to a Solo carear. None of the remaining 'LOTNS' members did anything significant since then. Sometimes you have to leave situations in the past and move on. I'd say that for Wyclef,as much as I loved the Fugees,i feel like that situation was holding him back, breaking up was a blessing for him.

the best way to explain in this is, the white gangsta kid that hangs out with all the black gangsta kids?

well i think that loyalty factor is there because without 50, none of those dudes in g-unit would even be relevant...or have a record deal for that matter. how he feels, i think he knows he's being taken care of at the end of the day, so he'll take the backseat.

I think in some instances such as this, loyalty is a little overrated. What about respect? Respect for artists that make better music than you and have been in the game for longer? For the other G Unit members to just support 50's desperate need for media attention in the form of pointless beefs just makes them look like dick riders. Young Buck is the only one in that group with talent (even Game didnt diss him) and he is making himself look dumb by mindlessly following his leader.

mannie fresh left cash money, because he wasnt getting respect over there. signed with def jam south and blew it up by himself. IMO hes the most underrated producer in the game. One of those under the surface type dudes that pops his head out to drop the big shlt poppin beat. He made the right decision for his career and Ive still never heard him talk negative on cash money. I know your talking about rappers, just had to get this one out there.

Its business nothing personal...I mean I dont have to agree with my boss to work with him...But when I find better opportunities Im more subjected to leave. I mean if Buck didnt sell records for G Unit...50 would drop him from the label....Same difference
