71. Odyssey-Yngwie Malmsteen : this is an amazing album, if you love great guitar playing check it out

72-Survival-Grand Funk Railroad: not so much

73-The Magician's Birthday-Uriah Heep: one of the most underrated albums (and bands) of all time

74-In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida-Iron Butterfly: Originally meant to be titled "in the garden of eden" if only they'd shown up to the studio sober

75-Headhunters-Krokus: Overrated cover band

76-Aerosmith-Aerosmith: excellent

77-Montrose-Montrose: 'bad motor scooter' will get you to check it out, then you discover the rest of the album rocks too

78-Peace Sells-Megadeth: Dave Mustaine after he got kicked out of Metallica, one of the top 3 thrash metal albums

79-Mechanical Resonance-Tesla: Total crap, and Tommy Skeogh is a pussy

80-Agents of Fortune-Blue Oyster Cult: not their best album, but OK

If they are so great than why would the average person not be able to identify 3 of them today? I think they were probably all good for thier day though.

I'd bet that list would be different if done today.

not bad. i don't see too many reasons for the list to be that different if done today. fact is not much of today's music can even come close to 70s, 80s music. However the emergence of new bands in the 90s like nirvana, alice in chains, rage against the machine, tool etc. would surely bring some change change to that list. Also Buckethead. The bands i mentioned are not traditional metal though so yeah the list would not change THAT much. But there was also the 90s emergence of swedish death metal producing super bands like at the gates, dark tranquillity and in flames all three of which should have albums in the top 100 albums.

thats blasphemy...Peace Sells at 78!? Tesla at 79!? Headhunters is a good album as well....

why is it kiss is never on these stupid lists!!!!!!
