My mother no.. she hates it with a passion.. especially the metal. My father will listen to all the classic rock I listen to, some of the alternative and even a small bit of metal and he's 77.

No.... Lol. They don't really have a set fav band. I listen to alot of metal so yeah. They don't.

My dad is an old school classic rock guy. He'll listen to some of the metal I listen to but he pretty much despises the punk stuff.

My stepdad used to be into some of the bands I like when he was young, so he doesn't mind my music [for the most part].
My mum on the other hand - she calls it "noise". She isn't fond of it at all =/.
Oddly enough my parents do listen to alot of the same stuff I do. I haven't quite sold them on Flogging Molly yet but Led Zep AC/DC are authorized for play.

They like some of it. But my mom hates death metal (which i like a lot).

My mom kinda does.....I have gotten her into Godsmack....she even has their song "Serenity" as her ringtone....my mom is pretty cool :).....She doesn't like anything with screaming or growling but she doesn't mind loud music, which is pretty awesome....I keep anything from Pantera to Throwdown, in my car,....cause she doesn't like stuff to that extent....but she is usually cool with listening to stuff like Godsmack when we are in the car together or whatever.....so, I usually have my quieter, loud music on with her.....and she usually gets into it......like I said she can be pretty cool.....lol

My dad is into the Eagles and Neil Diamond and stuff while I listen to Atreyu and Blessthefall. They don't mix :) Sometimes we find common ground with GNR and stuff like that. He seems to really like girl singers like Avril and Heart to.....
My mom absolutley cannot stand my music. I find a song like "Almost Easy" or "Smells like Teen Spirit" on the radio and she yells at me cause there is too much squealing and screaming....wtf?

They hate bands like Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, and Kreator.
But they like bands like Iron Maiden, Wintersun, and Black Sabbath.
Both my parents like The Beatles and Bob Dylan. My mom likes Billy Bragg and Flogging Molly but the rest gives them headaches.
