It's... It's good!! Holy sin, it is Sonata Arctica!! One of the greatest bands in a world full of crappy music.. Anyone else agree with me that they're awesome? They aren't talked about very much like MCR is.. They're Power Metal, yes, the same style as Dragonforce, 90% of the people who like Dragonforce don't even know that they play Power Metal, the other 10% who know what Power Metal will listen to Sonata Arctica instead.. =P

Yes, I like them just as much as I like Firewind, Falconer, Silent Force, and Demons and Wizards.
Emo bands suck. They are overrated and do not deserve respect. Power Metal needs to be credited more for being an awesome genre of metal.
EDIT: I agree, why do people hate so much high male vocals? I think that Mathias Blad from Falconer has the most amazing voice that you could ask for in a metal band. Listening to Power Metal makes you feel like you are in another world, which is a good thing.

And I'm a well-seasoned music listener.
to them.. well seasoned music listener is probably listening to The Devil Wears Prada (which is metal to them) and then listening to Panic! At the Disco or Paramore.
I do listen to lots of music though..
They have great guitars, but I'm not much for the vocals. (which is most powermetal)
but I like old-school Children of Bodom though. you might like a band called Imperanon.

It's pretty good, I thought it was going to be horrible like a lot people say power metal is. Besides that dude holding the synth or whatever looks savage! Yes there IS other power metal bands besides Dragonforce, SA is way better.
