Rock/christian music :-)?!
Question: does anyone know of any songs that sound like rock but are christian with a good meaning? i mostly listen to christian music but i also like the sound and beat of rock music, it would be prefect if i found some songs that had both. does anyone know of any. please and thank you :-)

Songs with a deep(er) meaning that rock: What Do We Know? Breathe You In, Lift It, This Is A Call, My Home, Absolute, All The Way Live, When In Doubt, Everyone Like Me.
Listen to them. That's an order, not a suggestion =P

Well there are a lot of artists that sing christian music thats really good. You should try Hawk Nelson, Relient K, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, The Afters, Lecrae, The David Crowder Band, DC Talk, and BarlowGirl to name a few. Hope it helps!

I'll be honest with you Wendy.I don't know any groups or prformers out there by name right now but,If you went to a ,what they are calling a "NEW AGE",NON DENOMINAL" CHURCH.You could ask there and I'm sure you would be reccomended a lot.I have heard some,and it is very good.Just,as you say your looking for.The lyrics are about God,Christ,living in his world in these times,etc.There should be one of these newer churches near you.And,they are not cults.When I do go to church now.These are the Churches I go to.Actually,even there.You will see a Rock/Christian band preformimng and part's were we join in.Good Luck and God Bless!!!!

hello Wendy, i personally recommend MXPX, they r a Christian punk rock band, very powerful lyrics, also Slick Shoes, they sound almost a like to mxpx....The rabbles r good they are also punk rock...check them out in you tube...they r really good bands
