Does it really matter if PATD took out the ! ??!

Question: Seriously. You fan girls seem so distraught over the missing punctuation. Why is it so important?

I am asking once and for all, because I really don't get why it is so important. It seems ridiculous to be so concerned about a missing exclamation point. Explain this to me.

PLEASE AXEMURDER THESE DORKS ! I just moved the exclamation point instead of deleting.

Persephone...y'gotta remember- the ones who're losing sleep over the ! are the same ones who come here & ask what to *wear* to a concert.

Yeah.

i agree. it's all really dumb. without it, it makes them look less fagish..

wha?

they took out the "!"!!!!

thats insane...ill never listen to them EVER again...i wont mention that I decided that long ago and from what Ive heard of "Pretty.Odd", i made a good choice.

I don't think it should matter at all. I don't see why the fans are getting all bent out of shape over it.

Of course it does!! It makes them less......um........enthusiastic?

Ahaha, I don't think anyone seriously cares.
As far as actual fans go.
But, fangirls aren't actual fans, so...

There is definitely nothing to fret over, seriously guys! PATD put it in their name to begin with maybe because they thought it would put some excitement or wonder in it. i don't know for sure why they put it in there, but i do know for certain why the took it out. That reason is simply because "it was getting old and kind of annoying.."
No reason to stress over this AT ALL. They put it in there and they are the ones who took it out, nothing to do with you or if you liked it. 1.) it's up to them what they do with THEIR name
2.) IT'S AN EXCLAMATION POINT>>!<<

i think its because patd just discovered the beatles and are trying to be taken more seriously. whats worse, people will listen to the record and say "ahh theres the connection." please, im not normally up for bashing bands, but patd has zero talent. their songwriting is totally cheesy and pretentious and now you're telling me they're modeling their music based off of the beatles who they just happened to discover? the singers voice makes me want to punch people in the face. and do you know whats really funny...these emo/pop kids all looked up to their makeup wearing douches and then the band totally pulls a 180 on them. now all these kids are like "oh my god, they took away the exclamation point AND they listen to the beatles???? ewwww. well, guys theres always mcr."

I suppose it's because the band doesn't seem as "happy" as it used to [when it had the "!"].

Personally I think they should put the exclamation back, but instead change "panic" to "faggets" which would amount to: Faggets! At The Disco.

=)

Yeh.. it really makes no difference, i doubt anyone ever actually shouted 'panic', then said 'at the disco' in a normal tone.
Maybe the fans thought it made the band look 'original' or something.

Pouting. Angry. Teenage. Depression.

Has to get angry over something don't Ya know?

it just made it sound awesome.
it's like how you would know them, by adding a ! in their name. i loved it in the name, but comparing them now and then with their last album, they completely changed, so maybe us girls are not only complaining about the ! but also the fact they changed completely, their new album is lighter and happier i guess. its just different, i personally like their first album more, it's more rock and alternative in it, their new album is more like the beatles (i love the beatles too), which is okay, but if we wanted to listen to music like that, we will just listen to the beatles. i'm gonna miss the old them and the !, the only thing they kept from their last album is them, and they even changed a lil bit, cause if they didn't, they wouldn't take out the ! and changed the style of music.

i hoped that helped, if not, i don't care

Change of any sort tends to get the masses all hot and bothered. The important thing to keep in mind here is that their formula of making second rate music employing the use of a toy piano is still in tact. They suck equally as bad with punctuation or without.

Doesn't matter to me, I mean so what if there's no ! ? Life goes on
@->-->-

Before they took out the ! We could screech PANIC!ATTHEDISCO!!!!!! Now we have to say it quietly..panicatthedisco... ::: sigh:::: It was a sad day when they took out the ! :(

haha, who cares..

Who cares? I rarely used the ! and that's why they dropped it. I think it was kinda cool when they had it, but I could personally care less.

People are just to obsessed about the stupidest things these days. Too bad they have to be obsessed with a really crappy band.

it makes no difference the music is still awfull

Their weird and obsessed!
I'm tired of 12 year old girls overreacting on something simple like that. Seriously, who gives? I'm getting tired of fan girls saying that. Its really getting on my nerves. I can't take it anymore.

huh?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

say it ain't so oh oh.

you know what they should do, they should add the ! back in, but also add another ! and ? at the end.
So it will be: "Panic! At the Disco?!" hahaha.

Ha thats really stupid that people freak out. That band sucks anyway.
It confuses me though.....like was their record company like dude ya gotta drop the "!"
Or did they come up with the decision to get rid of that nasty little "!" all by themselves?

wel. . . you obviously are not a fan, therefore you shouldnt care, therefore you're wasting your time, therefore get a life.
