Restringing my acoustic guitar?!

Question: I'm trying to restring my acoustic guitar for the first time, it's a nylon stringed one so I bought a set of nylon ball end strings. The problem is the ball end wont fit into either the bridge or the tuning post, is it okay if I just cut off the ball? thanks

The ball shouldn't go through the bridge. The string goes through the bridge, the ball keeps the string in place. Run the plain end of the string through the bridge so the ball holds it in place. Run the string up the neck, over the nut and into the tuning pegs.

it depends. u must have a classical guitar? the nylon strings sometimes have different ends but i dont think cutting off the ball will help....go to the nearest guitar shop and ask an expert. sry i cant help much :(
